Shoaib Akhtar, a former fast bowler for Pakistan, congratulated Afghanistan on their first-ever T20 series victory over Pakistan and commended their team’s abilities.
According to Akhtar, Pathans and Bengalis may dominate the world if they use their energies constructively.
“I’m overjoyed. Pathans and Bengalis can rise to the top of society if they focus their energies in the right directions. because extremism exists in both. They have the potential to be the best in the world if extremism can be properly channelled with maturity. The victory of our Pathan brothers makes me very joyful, Akhtar wrote on his YouTube account.
He also gave Shadab Khan, the captain of Pakistan, advice to make a strong comeback and give Afghanistan, who played smart cricket to win, a tough fight. Shoaib also mentioned that he wanted to travel to Kabul to see his Afghan pals.
“Come back with a bang. Make sure Afghanistan faces stiff competition. Although it can be challenging, Afghanistan has played some challenging cricket. It’s good to see them defeat Pakistan for the first time, and I’m glad they achieved it by playing responsible cricket. Afghanistan constantly needs positive news. Friends from Afghanistan call me frequently. He said, “I want to go to Kabul.
The Rawalpindi Express had a separate encounter with Afghan fans during the Asia Cup last year when he accused them of inciting violence following the Afghanistan-Pakistan match.
Shafiq Stanikzai, the former CEO of the Afghanistan Cricket Board, responded to his statement by sharing many images and videos to demonstrate that the violence was not caused by Afghan supporters. Shoaib Akhtar expressed regret for his remarks.
“Afghan fans are acting in this manner. They have previously performed this action numerous times. This is a game, and it should be played and approached appropriately. Shafiq Stanikzai, the former CEO of the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), was mentioned in a tweet by Akhtar.
Stanikzai responded to Akhtar’s remark by saying, “View these images and the video attentively then judge, as well as let the Match referee decide in line with the Cricket law before you use degrading language to the entire nation and it’s your second time u r doing so. I’m hoping that the apologies will be accepted.
