Afridi, whose PSL stint with Quetta Gladiators was cut short by a back injury, said he would consider returning to the league if any team approached him.
“I don’t know where I’m going. I will undoubtedly accept a franchise’s offer. I’ll work because it’s for Pakistan,” the flashy all-arounder declared.
Afridi participated in the PCB’s pioneering Pakistan Junior League (PJL) as the Mardan Warriors’ coach.
Since the first season, he has represented four of the six PSL teams.
When asked whose side he preferred to play with, the batter responded: “Peshwar Zalmi and I had a terrific time together. We want to provide young talent with an opportunity, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Second, I enjoyed my time with the Multan Sultans. a competent group with decent owners.”
2023’s PSL 8 will take place from 9 February through 19 March.
