Shaheen Shah Afridi pulled him back from Bangladesh Premier League (BPL)

Shaheen Shah Afridi pulled him back from playing in BPL. He said that he is focusing on his rehabilitation.

Earlier he committed to play a few matches for Comilla Victorians, defending champion of BPL just before kicking off the PSL 8. He also committed to play for the team by looking over his physical condition. But now, he wants to restart his cricket journey from PSL. PSL will start on 16th February. He will lead his team Lahore Qalandars.

Afridi got injured last year while playing a test match against Sri Lanka. But he came back to the T20 world but he again received the same knee injury before his final and crucial spell against England in the final. The interim chief selector Shahid Afridi selected him for the team and nowadays he is doing practice along the team under the team’s physio.
