Beginning on Monday, Karachi will host the second Test in the two-game series between Pakistan and New Zealand.
Earlier, the opening Test game was a tie.
Pakistan resumed their second inning on the final day of the first Test at 77 for the loss of two wickets, declared at 311 for the loss of eight wickets, and gave New Zealand a winning target of 138 runs.
When the game was called off owing to poor lighting, New Zealand was 61 for one while chasing the objective.
