Reaction of Arshad Warsi: SEBI Bans

Following his and his wife’s ban from the stock market by SEBI, Arshad Warsi finally responds.

Arshad Warsi is an Indian actor, producer, and television personality best known for his work in Hindi films. He made his film debut with Tere Mere Sapne in 1996 and has since appeared in numerous films, including Ishq, Munnabhai MBBS, Golmaal, and Lage Raho Munna-bhai. He has won several awards, including two Zee Cine Awards, and has been nominated for four Film-fare Awards. In addition to his film career, Warsi has hosted television shows, such as Laughter Challenge, Comedy Circus, and Entertainment Ki Raat. He is currently playing the character of Circuit in the popular Munna-bhai franchise.

Arshad Warsi, a well-known actor in the Bollywood industry, and his wife Maria Goretti have reportedly been barred by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) from trading stocks.

According to reports, two businesses, Sharpline Broadcast Ltd. and Sadhna Broadcast Ltd., are charged with manipulating stock prices. After investigating the issue, the SEBI learned that the companies managed the shares by deceiving the buyers via YouTube videos. They were luring investors to contribute capital to the businesses, as mentioned above.

The government has confiscated 54 crore rupees worth of illegal business profits due to the YouTube scam. According to reports, Arshad and Maria profited from this scam approximately 29.43 lakhs and 37 lakhs, respectively.

After being implicated in the case, the actor came forward to address the allegations and finally ended his long silence. Please don’t take the news at face value, he tweeted. Maria and I have no stock knowledge, so we followed the advice and invested in Sharda, where, like many others, we lost all of our hard-earned money.
