According to the QS Asia University Rankings 2023, 50 Pakistani universities have been ranked. In this ranking, the top higher education institutions in Asia are recognized. There are only two Asian universities in the top 100.
For this year, QS Asia Rankings ranks the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) as the top national university.
A number of colleges follow NUST, including Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) and Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). There are only two Asian universities in the top 100: NUST and QAU.
In total, 760 universities have been included in the QS Asia University Rankings 2023, making it the biggest rankings since the rankings began in 2009.
The National University of Singapore, last year’s top institute, took second place this year to Peking University, the leading Asian higher education institute. Among Asian universities, Tsinghua University ranks third.
