There was news that the Bugti stadium, Quetta, would host the PSL 8th edition matches. But, it is said that there will be no match played in Quetta.
However, Quetta will only host a match, but it will be an exhibition. This exhibition match will be played between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi, two famous rivals of PSL. Quetta will observe this match on the 5th of February, which is observed as Kashmir Solidatory day, national independence across Pakistan.
Till now, Quetta has hosted only international matches, in 1996. It was thought that the people of Quetta would be able to support its team in her hometown. However, they will be only able to support in a match. PCB and security agencies are looking into the arrangements for the solo game.
This 8th edition will start on the 13th of February that will last up to the 19th of March.
