PSL 2023: Usman Khan Smashes Fastest PSL Century

Multan Sultans The Pakistan Super League’s fastest century was scored by Usman Khan.

Usman Khan of Multan Sultans set a record for the quickest century in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history after slamming a century in just 36 balls during the 28th game of the current season of the competition.

The Sultans hitter was dismissed by Gladiators skipper Muhammad Nawaz after making 120 runs on 43 balls with 12 fours and 9 sixes with a strike rate of 279,1.

Even the opposition had to accept the top-order batter’s skill due to his outstanding performance.

Quetta Gladiators posted a message of appreciation for Usman Khan on Twitter.

Usman’s century ranks second among Pakistani cricketers in terms of speed in T20 cricket.

In 2020, Khushdil Shah hit 100 runs in just 35 balls, which included eight fours and nine sixes, in a domestic T20 competition.

Rilee Rossouw of the Sultans recently shattered his own record for the fastest PSL century by striking a century in just 41 balls during a match against the Peshawar Zalmi.

Rossouw achieved a century in 43 deliveries in 2020, scoring his first 50 in 17 deliveries and his second 50 in 24 deliveries.
