Crisis-hit In Pakistan’s largest metropolis on Friday, a terrible attack occurred, raising concerns about the country’s security protocols
Security forces, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is in Turkey for a solidarity visit, condemned the attack after the operation to neutralise all terrorists from the Karachi Police Office building was completed.
In a statement, the prime minister strongly condemned the terrorist attack and emphasised the need for everyone to work together to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan. He emphasised the state’s full ability to combat extremists in the face of a substantial increase in attacks.
PM insisted that such heinous assaults couldn’t make the police and other law enforcement organisations less resolute. The premier expressed solidarity with the police and security agencies of Pakistan and prayed for the injured people’s speedy recovery.
He commended law enforcement for taking strong measures against militants and gave the federal interior minister Rana Sanaullah instructions to fully involve the centre in the effort to flush out the TTP assailants.
Several prominent figures, including President Dr. Arif Alvi, Sindh Chief Minister, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, and others, denounced the terrorist attack.
