Peshawar Zalmi became the first PSL team to reach 50 wins with their victory over Islamabad United on Thursday night.
Karachi Kings, on the other hand, have suffered the most PSL defeats. In 85 games over the course of all eight seasons of the league, they have lost 50.
Peshawar Zalmi have played 92 games so far, winning 50 of them. In 49 of the 50 games, Zalmi had easy victories, and they also won one game in the super over.
The Babar Azam-led team has a 54.39% success rate in the PSL and is the only one to have advanced to the playoff round in each of the competition’s eight iterations.
Zalmi defeated United last night in the opening round of the PSL’s eighth season and went on to win the match.
In the first elimination match, which was held at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, Zalmi had set United a target of 184 runs.
They will now compete against Lahore Qalandars for a place in the championship game. Today, the same location will host the second Eliminator.
