Pakistan Wins The Four-Nation Women’s Football Cup For The First Time

In the opening game of the Four-Nation Cup in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan’s women’s soccer team defeated Comoros 1-0

In their opening match in the Four-Nation Cup taking place in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Comoros faced off. In a tense first half of the game, which was played at the Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium, neither team was able to score.

Anmol Hira’s goal in the 89th minute of the game gave Pakistan the advantage in the second half, nevertheless. Pakistan had a 1-0 victory at the game’s conclusion.

With this achievement, Pakistani women have won two straight international matches for the first time since FIFA removed its ban on the Pakistan Football Federation last year. After a comeback at the SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 in Nepal, the Pakistan women’s football team defeated the Maldives by a score of 7-0 in their opening match.

On Sunday at Saud Bin Jalawi Stadium, Pakistan will play Mauritius in their upcoming Four-Nation Cup match.
