Today’s opening encounter of the three-match T20 series will take place at Sharjah Cricket Stadium with Pakistan scheduled to face Afghanistan (Friday).
Around nine o’clock Pakistan Standard Time, the game will begin. On Sunday, the second T-20 game will be played, and on Monday, the third.
The series trophy was unveiled at a ceremony that took place at the stadium the day before. Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, and Rashid Khan, the captain of Afghanistan, were seen posing with the trophy in a post shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
The cricket team from Pakistan arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday evening to begin a three-match series.
Ahead of time, the PCB and Afghanistan Cricket Board decided to slightly alter the schedule for Afghanistan’s three-match T20I home series against Pakistan. The first game of the series will now begin on March 24, and the final two games will be played in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, on March 26 and 27.
