Super Star, one of Pakistan’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, has teased the launch of its new electric scooter. While the company has not yet disclosed the specifications and features of the two-wheeler, it is expected to compete with the recently launched Evee electric scooter.
Specifically designed for the Pakistani market, the Evee electric scooter is the first electric vehicle manufactured there. The C1 scooter boasts a flat floorboard design and a short wheelbase, making it easy to mount and dismount in work attire.
A key feature of the Evee electric scooter is its fuel efficiency, with the company claiming a range of 50 to 60 kilometers on a single charge. The scooter is powered by a 60V 20Ah Lead Dry Acid Battery and comes with an array of features, including an anti-theft alarm, a reverse gear, and a hub magnetic coil.
It is powered by a 1200W motor and can reach a top speed of 55 kilometers per hour, with a maximum load capacity of 150 kilograms. This scooter requires approximately six to seven hours to charge, and it is equipped with a 12 tube vector controller and a disk brake. The scooter also features a color display meter for easy monitoring.
The Super Star electric scooter is expected to offer similar features and specifications to the Evee electric scooter. A launch date and price have not yet been announced, but the teaser shows a classic design with an upright shield in front.
Considering the high costs of fuel and inflation impacting the middle class in Pakistan, the introduction of electric two-wheelers could provide an eco-friendly and cost-effective transportation solution.
