One Of Three Boys In Karachi Attending School Is Killed By A Speeding Truck

KARACHI: A truck struck three brothers who were walking to school in the port city, leaving one of them dead and the other two seriously hurt, according to police sources.

According to the sources, the tragedy happened as the three brothers were riding a motorcycle from their home to school near Baba Mor in Surjani Town.

 

The three students were critically hurt when a speeding truck struck them as they were travelling on the motorbike.

 

According to the authorities, all of the youngsters were immediately transferred to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the two received medical attention and the doctors verified the boy’s death.

The injured brothers have been identified as 15-year-old Azhar Asghar and 12-year-old Usman Asghar, while the deceased has been identified as 12-year-old Umar Asghar.

 

According to police sources, the truck has been confiscated after the accident’s driver fled the scene. The sources did, however, inform Geo News that a search effort was in progress.
