The prime minister prayed for the family of the deceased and their patience, adding, “May Allah grant the deceased a high place in Jannat al-Firdous.”
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah declared Mufti Rafi Usmani’s services to Islam and Pakistan to be “exemplary” on Twitter.
Kamran Tessori, the governor of Sindh, also expressed his condolences to his family.

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah, also expressed sorrow over the passing of the illustrious scholar.
“The passing of Mufti Sahib is a terrible loss for the Islamic community. His devotional offerings are eternal, “CM Murad mentioned that he was feeling sad.
The chief minister asked God to provide Mufti Rafi Usmani a prestigious position in Jannah.
