Leader of the PML-N Was Injured In An Alleged Assassination Attempt In Sheikhupura

Former minister Tariq Khokhar and Leader of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), nearly escaped being shot in Sheikhupura

Local law enforcement officials told the media that in the early hours of Wednesday at Grand Trunk road close to Sheikhupura, attackers riding motorbikes fired at Khokhar's vehicle.

According to reports in the local media, the PML-N leader was driving when assailants tried to stop him. When he resisted, the guys allegedly opened fire.

Ferozewala, the general secretary of the PML-N, was hurt and was taken to Mayo Hospital in Lahore in severe condition.

Police officials have taken notice of the occurrence and started an investigation to find the offenders.
