Lahore Traffic Police And LCCI Collaborate To Reduce Traffic Issues

Traffic Police (CTP) have decided to create collaborative committees and designate a focal person.

In order to solve traffic concerns such encroachments, unlawful parking, and traffic infractions in Punjab’s capital, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and City Traffic Police (CTP) have decided to create collaborative committees and designate a focal person.

This decision was made at LCCI by Senior Vice President Chaudhry Zafar Mahmood, President Kashif Anwar, and Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore Dr. Assad Malhi. Participants in the meeting included market representatives and members of the LCCI Executive Committee.

The CTO said that as LCCI’s suggestions are frequently knowledge-based, their viewpoint is important. He also mentioned that traffic rule awareness programmes would be held by CTP and LCCI.

The CTO said that everyone must do their part to ensure smooth traffic flow, adding that if traffic slows down or stops, it exacerbates the smog problem. He said that the help of LCCI will simplify traffic law enforcement.

Along with promising to fight encroachment and improper parking, CTO and LCCI President. Malhi promised extra police officers to enforce parking regulations and manage one-way traffic in marketplaces.

The LCCI President commended the traffic police’s persistent efforts to keep traffic moving and avoid accidents. According to him, the LCCI will continue to support the traffic police as required.
