One of the most well-known Indian playback singers of the current period is Kumar Sanu. More than 36 languages, including Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Urdu, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Nepali, Oriya, Assamese, Bhojpuri, and Punjabi, have heard him sing more than 25,000 songs. He holds the record for the most Film-fare Awards in this category, having received five for Best Male Playback Singer. The National Award for Best Male Playback Singer was also given to him. He has received the Padma Shri honour from the Indian government. Sanu is regarded as one of the founders of Indian music, and many contemporary vocalists have incorporated elements of his style into their performances.
The versatile vocalist Kumar Sanu expresses his opinion about the recent Hindi cinema soundtracks, saying that they are not worth listening to.
Kumar was recently questioned about his favorite genres of music during an interview. He did, however, mention the music he doesn’t enjoy listening to while answering this query.
I listen to vintage Lata Ji, Kishore Kumar, and Rafi tunes, he continued. Like I already said, I try not to listen to my tunes. I also listen to a few English songs, but not any contemporary Hindi music. I don’t even bother listening to them since it’s not worth it, and I don’t know much about them.

“Today, there is meddling from everyone,” Sanu said, referring to the director, producer, actor, and financier. “If Nadeem-Shravan is composing music, it will be fantastic, and if Kumar Sanu is singing, he will do a good job,” the singer said in his closing statement, according to News18. That assurance is no longer present. Today, 8–10 vocalists perform the same song; they are unsure of which version will be kept or which is best. Under this circumstance, it is exceedingly challenging to identify as a vocalist.
