KP Approves Master Plans to Renovate 4 Cities

Miran Shah, and Mir Ali have been authorised by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Land Use and Building Control Council (LUBCC)

The master plans for Mardan, Wana, Miran Shah, and Mir Ali have been authorised by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Land Use and Building Control Council (LUBCC).

The master plans for 16 other significant cities will be approved by the council by March of this year.

It will be simpler for the Planning and Development (P&D) department to conceptualise, design, implement, and monitor development schemes thanks to these master plans.

Additionally, the master plans will make sure that the provincial government’s guiding principles for the preservation of agricultural land and other green spaces are not disregarded.

KP became the first province to establish such a programme when Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan approved the KP Urban Policy 2030.

LUBCC, the Urban Policy and Planning Unit, and the Sub-National Governance Program worked together to establish this policy.
