Atlas Honda has launched an easy installment plan with various banks, including Standard Chartered, MCB, UBL, and Faysal Bank to make its bikes more accessible to consumers. As a result of this plan, Honda bike models are offered at a zero percent markup, making them more affordable for customers.
According to the company, the installment plan is available for 12 months, while some banks may offer up to 36 months. The company offers different installments for different bikes, for example the lowest installment for the Honda CG 125 is Rs. 8,515 per month, while the lowest installment for the Honda CD 70 is Rs. 5,565 per month. In spite of this, it is important to note that not all banks are participating in this offer, and it is only available to those who possess a credit card.
Suzuki & Yamaha Installment Plan
Yamaha and Suzuki have also introduced installment plans for their motorcycles. In November 2022, Suzuki launched a plan for its Suzuki GSX 125 with 0% markup and 24 EMI. There was an advance payment requirement of 30%, which was Rs. 107,000 at the time of the offer, with the remaining amount to be paid over two years.
In September 2022, Yamaha Motor Pakistan offered a 0% markup installment plan for its bikes. According to the company’s dealers, customers were required to pay a 50% down payment, with the remaining amount payable in four months. This offer was limited to specific cities and for a limited time, and available on a limited stock basis.
There are several reasons for these plans, including the rapid devaluation of the PKR against the US dollar, which has led to an increase in bike prices in recent years. By offering installment plans, the company aims to make bikes more affordable and accessible to consumers who may face financial challenges as a result of the current economic climate.
