India lost in the Women’s T20I Tri-Series in South Africa 2023 final against South Africa by 5 runs. Chloe Tryon was declared the player of the match. The player of the series award was given to Deepti Sharma.

Yesterday, the final of the Women’s T20I Tri-Series in South Africa 2023 was played between India and South Africa at Buffalo Park, East London. India Women won the toss and opted to bat first.

While batting team India was only able to set a target of 109 with the loss of 4 four wickets. The top batter from the Indian side was Harleen Deol. she scored 46 with the help of 4 boundaries. Harmanpreet Kaur was the other pronounced player with the bat from the Indian side. She contributed 21 runs in the team cumulative. N Mlaba was the top South African bowler with 2 wickets against 16 runs.

In response, team Africa was on the target 12 balls earlier with 5 wickets. Chloe Tryon showed some big hits as she scored 57 with the help of 6 fours and 2 out-of-the-park shorts. Nadine de Klerk was the other pronounced batter. She contributed 17 runs in the chase. Sneh Rana was the top Indian taker. She registered 2 wickets.

Both teams are ready to go to South Africa for the T20 world cup. The international tournament will begin on February 10.
