Ihsanullah Of Multan Sultans Is Welcomed With Honor

Ihsanullah won Player of the Tournament and Best Bowling in the eighth Pakistan Super League season.

In the just concluded eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), pacer Ihsanullah of the Multan Sultans won both the Player of the Tournament and Best Bowling trophies. He also received a hero’s welcome when he returned to Swat.

Ihsanullah was greeted warmly by friends and family upon his return to his hometown on Monday. In honor of his victory in the competition, he was showered with garlands and flowers.

Ihsanullah became the first up-and-coming player to win Player of the Tournament in PSL history.

The right-arm bowler recorded 22 wickets and put up a noteworthy effort to win two trophies.

Ihsanullah expressed his gratitude to Allah in an interview after earning his honor.

“We are grateful to Allah for this honor. I’d want to dedicate this honor to my father, who has helped me along the way “said he.

Ihsanullah continued to be the Sultans’ preferred bowler throughout the match. The third year running, the Mohammad Rizwan-led Sultans participated in the PSL championship game.

In response to a question on the lessons he learned throughout his first PSL season, Ihsanullah gave Rizwan and the organization credit.

“My knowledge has really expanded. Seniors like Rizwan Bhai and others helped me. Thank God, I gave a performance for my group. I’ll strive to keep up this performance in the future “Finally, he said.

No bowler had ever won Player of the Tournament honors before to Ihsanullah. The last seven winners of this prize are: Mohammad Rizwan (2020, Multan Sultans), Babar Azam (2020, Karachi Kings), Shane Watson (2019, Quetta Gladiators), Luke Ronchi (2018, Islamabad United), and Ravi Bopara (2016, Karachi Kings) (2022, Multan Sultans).
