How People Told Malaika Arora Not to Drop Her Surname

Malaika Arora, one of the most well-known figures in the Bollywood industry, claims that people advised her against dropping the Khan surname and even connected her success to the name. Malaika has made herself a vital part of the industry with her hard work and talent.

She revealed in an interview about her divorce phase that her success had been attributed to the surname.

She said that it did have a lot of advantages for her, but she doesn't think she could rely on having a well-known last name. She doesn't believe that fulfilled all of her life's ambitions. It did open up a lot of doors for her, but ultimately, she believes that she must work regardless of her married last name. And to stay in the game, she had to put in a lot of effort and consistently demonstrate her worth. And she continued to work and make a difference even after getting the surname and switching back to her maiden name.

She continued that she had lots of people tell her that she is making the biggest mistake by dropping the surname, according to reports. Many people have told her that she doesn't realize the importance of the surname she has. They have shown her a lot of love, so she has a lot of respect for her ex-in-laws and ex-family. She is very much a part of the family and has a child, but she needed to be able to stand on her own two feet for reasons other than her surname. Being able to drop the surname and resume using her maiden name just made her feel more like herself. That gave her the confidence to take on and accomplish anything in life.
