Hockey: India Won The Match Agains Wales

Men’s hockey world going is about to complete its first round. India qualified for the quarter-final round after a win against Wales in Group D matches.

Yesterday, a match was played between India and Wales. India won the game by 4-2. Team India scored the first goal in 1st quarter on a penalty corner. The second quarter was tranquil. Both teams tried their best to score another goal.

However, things become interesting in the third round. When Akashdeep Singh scored a goal when 13 minutes were left. Wales meet with the first goal also in the third quarter. The goal was scored on a penalty corner when only 2 minutes and 39 seconds were left. The equation becomes equal when wales scores a sensational second goal on a penalty corner. Only 46 seconds were left of the third quarter.

In the fourth and final quarter, India scored 2 goals, left Wales behind, and won the match. The third one was scored when 14 minutes and 19 seconds were left. The final goal was scored at a penalty corner when 50 seconds were left in completion.

Akashdeep Singh scored 2, Shamsher Singh scored 1, and Harmanpreet Singh scored a goal for team India. On the other hand, Gareth Furlong and Jacob Draper scored 1 goal for Wales.
