As 16 finalist PUBG MOBILE squads prepare for the ultimate battle of the gaming extravaganza tonight at PTCL and Ufone 4G’s newly released gaming platform “GameKey,” the winner’s trophy of PTCL Group’s largest E-Sports gaming competition, “GameKey Arena,” was unveiled here in Lahore.
The final phase of the event, which is being contested on the ground between the top 16 PUBG MOBILE squads from throughout the nation, is being held in Nishtar Park Sports Complex, where the trophy unveiling took place. A captivating musical performance by well-known Pakistani singer Shamoon Ismail will be held after the final competition and prize distribution event.
The last five maps of the final PUBG MOBILE competition will be played face-to-face tonight after the first 10 maps were played online earlier. The winning and runner-up teams will each get a pool prize worth PKR 3 million from PTCL Group.
More than 700 aspiring and seasoned PUBG MOBILE players participated in the GameKey Arena tournament, the first of its kind on the recently formed gaming platform, GameKey, to compete for the title of the game’s ultimate national champion. In the qualifiers, 40 teams made it through, and 16 made it to the championship game.
The crucial portion of the event today will also be live-streamed on Ufone 4G’s official YouTube channel, just like the semifinals and the online competition legs of the final competition. The PTCL Group seeks to identify and develop the nation’s gaming talent by offering young, gifted players chances for both personal and professional fulfilment.
