The 12th Cholistan Desert Jeep Rally schedule was released Friday by the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP). Several activities will be held on February 9 to register vehicles, perform technical inspections, and administer medical tests.
The stock category race will begin at 8 a.m. on February 10th from Fort Derawar. The first round of car races will begin on February 11 from Fort Derawar, with the final round taking place on February 12.
The announcement of position holders and the awarding of prizes will take place on the same night at 8 p.m. near Fort Derawar. The goal of holding this event in the heart of the Cholistan desert is to exhibit to the outside world the region’s rich history and culture. In addition, it is to promote this area as winter tourist destination.
