Taskin Ahmad struck hard last night in BPL; easy looking target proved a climb to Everest; Dhaka Dominators won the match by 24 runs

Yesterday 24th BPL match was played between Dhaka Dominators and Khulna Tigers. Dhaka Dominators won the match with 24 runs. Team Dhaka Dominators set a low target of 108. Khulna Tigers’ all team was back to the pavilion by scoring 84 runs.

The match was held at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. Khulna tiger won the toss and elected to bowl first. Dhaka Dominators was able to set a target of 108 at the loss of all wickets. The top scorer from the side was Soumya Sarkar. He played an exceptional inning of 57. The other man in a better mode was Taskin Ahmed. He merely scored 12 runs. Nahidul Islam was the top wicket-taker. He bagged 4 wickets against 6 runs.

In response, Khulna failed to achieve the set target. All team was back to the pavilion after 84 runs. There are only 2 players of tigers, who clock the double figure. They were Tamim Iqbal and Yasir Ali. they scored 30 and 21 runs, respectively. Taskin Ahmed was the magician from Dominators. He registered 4 wickets against 9 runs. Amir Hamza from Pakistan also sent 1 player back to the pavilion.
