In India, BMW launches the 3rd generation BMW X1 for Rs 45.90 lakh

BMW, the luxury car manufacturer, has unveiled the all-new BMW X1 sports activity vehicle (SAV) in India. The car is available in both petrol and diesel versions and can be purchased at introductory prices of Rs 45,90,000 (petrol) and Rs 47,90,000 (diesel) respectively. The vehicles are manufactured locally at BMW Group Plant Chennai and can be ordered through the company’s dealership network and official website.

According to BMW, deliveries for the diesel variant will commence in March, while the petrol variant will be available for delivery in June.

Vikram Pawah, President of BMW Group India, said in a statement that “The all-new BMW X1 makes a statement in its class with its powerful build and distinct muscular design. The interior is impressively modern and digital, marked by advanced connectivity and superb ease of use. All this, while still being the most agile luxury Sports Activity Vehicle, is bound to take the X1’s success to higher levels.”

Third-generation BMW X1 features Adaptive LED Headlights with High Beam Assistant, BMW Live Cockpit Plus with BMW Curved Display, etc. A BMW App with Remote Functions and Digital Instruments Key Plus with Comfort Access, Parking and Reversing Assistant, Active Seats, Instrument Panel Luxury, Harmon Kardon audio system and more.

The BMW X1 (diesel) can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in 8.9 seconds, whereas the BMW X1 (petrol) can do so in 9.2 seconds. The all-new BMW X1 SAV will enhance BMW’s success in the Indian market with its outstanding design, advanced technology, and exceptional performance.
