Arshad Sharif Memorial Institute of Media and Communication Studies will be Acquired by GCU

The construction of the Arshad Sharif Memorial Institute of Media and Communication Studies was approved by the Academic Council of GC University during its 28th meeting.

The Memorial Institute will include two departments: the Department of Digital Communication and Media and the Department of Media and Communication Studies.

The institute will serve as a testing ground for cutting-edge media techniques and communication tactics. In addition, it will provide people a chance to experiment with different applications for these techniques and technologies.

Earlier on October 29, Khan had announced that the PTI would establish a school of media studies named after the investigative journalist who was killed in Kenya on October 23.
