Afghan Board Reaches PCB For ODI Series

ACB reach out to PCB for 3 ODI series before PSL 8

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) reached out to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for an ODI series. It will consist of 3 matches. These matches will be played in UAE in between before the start of PSL 8.

This is a significant development among both countries in terms of cricket. Formerly Australia had to play an ODI series against Afghanistan, but Cricket Australia decided to pull the team out from playing with the Afgan team.

They did it in response to a protest against the present Taliban government for banning women’s education. In the last two 2 years, Australia had done it twice when he withdrew from playing bilateral series with Afghanistan. The reason behind this is the rule of the Taliban in Afghanistan.

The spin sensation of Afghanistan cricket and the captain is unpleased with this act. The star pacer, Naveen-ul-Haq, refused to play in the Australian league BBL as an act of protest. He was also angry over this decision. He called it a “childish act.”
