“The Kashmir Files” Director’s Claim: Bollywood is in Horrible Shape

According to Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, “most is squandered on the avarice and way of life of stars.”

Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, an Indian director who has spoken out against the status of the film business, makes yet another alarming claim about Bollywood.

The Kashmir Files director posted on his Twitter page that Bollywood is in a horrible state and that much of the money is being spent to support the actors’ luxurious lifestyles and vanity.

In a recent article, it was said that only Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan was able to start 2023 with positive box office results. Even though Luv Ranjan’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar made INR 120 crore, it cannot be considered a hit movie due to the high cost of production.

In response to this narrative, Vivek said, “Bollywood is in a Bad State” a gain. It seems that the entire industry is happy to pay excessive and expensive rates to celebrities who can’t even assure an opening. The extravagant lives of celebrities waste a lot of money. What is incorrect?

Several movies, including Selfiee, Shehzada, Bholaa, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, were released in the first quarter of 2023. But, only Pathaan did well, according to reports.
