Women’s U-19 – Pakistan Won The Match Against Zimbabwe With 10 Wickets

Girls did exceptionally well; the team cruised to the next round; Pakistan won the match against Zimbabwe with 10 wickets

The women’s U-19 T20 world cup is on the way. Team Pakistan cruised to the next round after last-day win against Zimbabwe. Pakistan won the match with 10 wickets. Eyman Fatima was the top performer with 62 runs at 35 balls.

The match was played at North-West University Oval, Potchefstroom. Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first.

The Zimbabwe team set a target of 98 at the loss of 6 wickets. The top performer from the Zimbabwe side was Kelis Ndhlovu. She was caught and bowled at 42 by Laiba Nasir. Adel Zimunu and Kay Ndiraya were the other top performer. They scored 13 and 11 scores respectively. Anosha Nasir sent 2 players back to the pavilion against 21 runs. Laiba Nasir and Zaibunnisa sent back 2 batters, respectively.

In response, Pakistan achieved the target comfortably in 10.5 overs. Eyman Fatima and Shawaal Zulfiqar stayed on the crease with 62 and 32 runs, respectively.
