With Additional Sex Offence Allegations In The Uk, Kevin Space’s Legal Problems Are Far From Over

New sex offence accusations have been brought against Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey in the UK

According to The Crown Prosecution Service, the 63-year-old actor has been charged with “a number of sexual assaults against one male between 2001 and 2004.” (CPS)

The American Beauty and House of Cards star, who resides in the US, was also given permission to face “one charge of compelling a person to engage in sexual behaviour without consent.”

The seven additional allegations concern alleged offences that occurred both before and after 2003, when new sexual offences legislation went into effect.

According to the CPS, which is in charge of filing lawsuits in England and Wales, Spacey is now facing a total of 11 allegations of sexual assault in Britain.

In July, Spacey entered a not guilty plea to four allegations of sexual assault against three men between 2005 and 2013 in London and Gloucestershire, western England, before the Old Bailey court in London.

Under English law, it is not possible to identify any of the claimed victims. Further information cannot be shared prior to trial due to reporting constraints.
