The interim chief selector Shahid Khan Afridi has completed his term as a chief selector. He was appointed for this position by the present chairman of PCB Najam Sethi. He selected the team that included some continuously overlooked players, i.e., Haris Sohail and Sarfraz Ahamad. He was praised for these changes. However, Pakistan has lost the ODI series and hardly managed to draw the red ball cricket series against the Blackcaps.
