A very important consultative meeting was held at the party secretariat of PML-N in Model Town under the chairmanship of Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz, who presided over the meeting. During the meeting, there was an echo of the consultation regarding Maryam Nawaz’s organizational visits and the resignation of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi from the post of party leader.
Several party sources have confirmed that Maryam Nawaz has assured the party leaders that the reservations of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will be removed. It is also reported that Maryam Nawaz has asked the leaders for suggestions on strengthening the party. Using Imran Khan’s narrative, PML-N will create a new narrative.
N League’s leader Muhammad Zubair, Anusha Rehman, Uzma Bukhari, Malik Ahmed Khan Talal, Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali, Mian Javed Latif, and other leaders participated in the meeting. At the same time, the heads of social media teams also took a special part.
According to reports, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had denied resigning from his senior vice presidency post in the party. In contrast, Maryam Nawaz and Muhammad Zubair, the spokesperson of Nawaz Sharif, had confirmed Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s resignation from his post.
