Neena Gupta, an old friend of Satish Kaushik, was deeply shocked to learn of his passing; the actress then released a video in memory of her friend.
Gupta and Kaushik had been close friends since their college days in the 1970s. They had a very strong bond and were both from Delhi.
Neena shared a special video for Satish on her Instagram account in which she said that she had this sad news when she woke up. The only person in this world who would call her “Nancy” was that individual. She could also call him “Kaushikan”. Even though they didn’t frequently interact, they had been friends since Delhi’s college days. She has arrived already. It’s horrifying and depressing. His wife, Shashi and his young daughter Vanshika are going through a difficult time. She is always available to them and will be there for them. She is at a loss for words. “May God give them strength, especially for Vanshika.”, said Neena.
The Goodbye actress recently wrote her autobiography, specifically mentioning actor Kaagaz in it. When they were working on a movie together, she remembered how he would pick her up on his scooter. She also made the emotional revelation that Satish had proposed to her while she was carrying Masaba Gupta, making her cry.
66-year-old Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9 from a heart attack, according to reports.
