On February 20 at National Bank Cricket Arena in the port city, Quetta Gladiators will play Peshawar Zalmi in the ninth match of Pakistan Super League Season 8.
One of the two games played in this year’s sports gala was won by the Babar Azam-led Yellow Storm. Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings in their first game, but they suffered a setback against Multan Sultans in their second game.
The Gladiators, on the other hand, have won one of the two Twenty20 league games this season. The Sarfaraz-led team lost badly to the league leaders Multan Sultans in their debut match, but they managed to rally against Karachi Kings.
The team winning the toss will like to bat first, depending on the pitch conditions, in order to score big runs and put the opponent under pressure, as teams batting first have won two of the last three games.
