NSTP and U.S. Embassy Joins Hands In Rising Stars Startup Competition

The US embassy is ready to sponsor the Rising Stars Startup competition held by Pakistan’s first-ever Science and technology park, NSTP (National Science and Technology Park). Alongside, these two big boys, many others are interested in joining the venture.

Startup culture is gaining fame across the world. It is also helping to eliminate unemployment in the region. Besides creating new jobs, these also help promote the culture, norms, and values of the specific region.

Pakistan is also looking for ways to promote the startup culture in the region. This joint venture of NSTP and the US embassy is a part of the chain. The program aims to raise the standard of minorities across the country and equality between men and women.

Pak mission society is the outreach partner to mobilize the communities across the land. Draper University is the knowledge partner of this program. The program will also help to provide training from industry specialists for 9 months duration.

The communities will work on their local culture and business and showcase it in front of the world. The winner will get PKR 1 million, and the runner-up will collect PKR 600K, and the third one will be awarded PKR 400K.
