ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year 2022 revealed

ICC has announced the best women’s all-rounder of the year 2022. She is Nat Sciver from England. She was declared the best for 833 runs and 11 wickets from 17 matches. She scored 5 fifties and 2 centuries in the past year.

She was the 3rd best in score but the best in high average. ICC said in the press release about her performance in last year’s world cup.

“She reserved her best for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2022, making 436 runs in the tournament at an average over 70. She finished third in the overall run charts behind Australia duo of Alyssa Healy and Rachael Haynes but recorded a better average than the two.”

Her exceptional and memorable performance was in the world cup when the English team was chasing a lofty 356 against Australia. She came on the crease when the team England was in trouble at 191/6. She scored 148 at 121 balls. There were 15 fours and a single maximum in that inning.
