Chattogram Challengers Were Defeated By Comilla Victorians By Six Wickets

Comilla Victorians won the match played with six wickets against Chattogram Challengers. The player of the match award was given to Muhammad Rizwan for his 61.

Yesterday was the 36th match between Comilla Victorians and Chattogram Challengers. The match was played at the surface of Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka. Chattogram Challengers won the toss and opted to bat first.

While batting, Challengers could only set a target of 156 at the loss of 9 wickets. The top batter from the batting side was Afif Hossain. He added 66 runs in the team cumulative with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes. The other prominent batters were Usman Khan and Darwish Rasooli. They scored 52 and 21 runs, respectively. Tanvir Islam and Hassan Ali both registered 2 wickets.

In response, Victorians were at the target 6 balls earlier with 6 wickets. The top batter for the chasing side was wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan. He played an exceptional knock of 61 with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes. The other better performers were Mosaddek Hossain and Shykat Ali. Both scored 35 and 15, respectively. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and Ziaur Rahman both bagged 2 wickets. The rest of the bowlers failed to send back any of the batters.

It was the third player of the match award for Multan Sultan’s captain Muhammad Rizwan in BPL.
