Islamabad united wicketkeeper Azam Khan shared an emotional story on his social media platform, Instagram. He shared the names by which he was called after the selection in PSL. He replied perfectly to useless and unfair critics with his performance in BPL. He said, “I can’t change my body structure. Everybody is not going to be slim.”
Quetta Gladiators selected him in PSL 3rd edition. At that time, the head coach of Quetta gladiators was Moain Khan. Azam is the son of the legendary Moain khan. For this reason, it was echoed that he was selected based on nepotism.
However, he perfectly replied to his critics with his bat and fielding. He was also selected for Pakistan’s T20 representation, but he failed to deliver an extraordinary performance in 3 T20. he played his debut match against England at Trent Bridge on Jul 16, 2021. His last international performance was against West Indies at Kensington Oval on Jul 28, 2021. He only scored 6 runs in 3 T20.
