The Duffer brothers of Stanger Things are producing the Netflix series Death Note, based on the most well-known manga in the world.
Halia Abdel-Meguid, a major lover of manga, will write and executive produce the show, according to What’s on Netflix. He has lived in Tokyo before and speaks Japanese with ease.
Along with the Duffer brothers, Abdel-Meguid is collaborating on Netflix’s series adaptation of Stephen Kings and Peter Straub’s The Talisman.
The Stranger Things creators have collaborated with them on the Netflix live-action version of the popular manga Death Note.
The Netflix series Death Note, which is based on the most well-known manga in the world, is being produced by the Duffer brothers of Stanger Things.
According to What’s on Netflix, the show will be written and executive produced by Halia Abdel-Meguid, a huge fan of manga. He is fluent in Japanese and has lived in Tokyo before.
Abdel-Meguid is working on the Stephen Kings and Peter Straub adaptation of The Talisman for Netflix alongside the Duffer brothers.
Although the Death Note cast has not been announced, it is anticipated that the Duffer Brothers will cast one or two of the fans’ favourite actors from Stranger Things.
The first season of the show is anticipated to consist of either nine episodes, like Stanger Things, or the normal eight episodes.
Death Note will probably not be released until 2024 because it is still in the early stages of creation.
