Another actor has filed a court complaint against the smear campaign that began as a result of the accusations made by the controversial YouTuber Adil Raja, which is still evoking strong reactions from the entertainment community.
Mehwish Hayat reportedly petitioned the Sindh High Court (SHC) in Kubra Khan’s footsteps to take action against those responsible for the smear campaign.
The Ms. Marvel actress, known for her outspoken persona, has petitioned the Sindh High Court through Khawaja Naveed Ahmed, claiming that false accusations were made against her on various social media sites.
The Tamgha-e-Imtiaz recipient is pursuing strong legal action against “mentally ill persons” who conduct attempts to damage her name.

Mehwish previously addressed Adil Raja’s assertions by claiming that “people stoop too low merely for cheap fame.” She kept going by saying “The fact that I am an actor does not give anyone the right to smear my name… Shame on you for making untrue accusations and insinuations against a person you don’t know, and even more shame on others who naively accept his garbage.”
The Ms. Marvel actor, known for her outspoken persona, is “disgusted about the mindset of society,” saying “this only shows the disease of our society that licks up this sewer of journalism without any thinking.”
