After WhatsAapp, Messenger Introduce End-to-End Encryption

Messenger is on the way to making it better than past; New features are loading

Messenger is another famous social messaging app. It is ranked at number 2nd after WhatsApp. According to the PTA report of last year, Facebook owns messenger, which is also 2nd most popular social media platform.

Messenger is making it more secure than past. They are going to introduce an end-to-end encryption feature. This feature was only available in WhatsApp. Enabling this feature means no one can access your call, even Facebook. This E2EE feature will enhance the privacy of the platform.

Some other features will remain part of messenger besides E2EE.

Chat themes: like Instagram, messenger also introduces chat themes to show your mode swings with your contacts.

Activity Status: like WhatsApp and Insta, messenger will also add active status. It will let the others know whether you are available or not. Its customizability will also be in the hands of users. They can turn off the status and last seen, like WhatsApp.

Some other features that will be there in the new version are fully customizable emoji reactions, group profile photos, link previews, and a bubble on Android.
