The Pakistan Super League PSL 8th edition will start on February 16, 2023. Many young players have been part of this exciting super league recently. It is a chance for the young corps to display their skills and prove them suitable for the national team. These newly selected guys are Arafat Minhas, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Haseebullah, Shawaiz Irfan, Aimal Khan, and Hassan Nawaz.
PSL proved as a launching pad for young cricketers. This event gave some big names to Pakistan cricket alongside the TRP and revenue. Fkhar Zaman, Hasan Ali, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Haider Ali, and Mohammad Haris are exemplary players launched by different PSL editions.
Arafat Minhas will come into action with Multan Sultan. Muhammad Irfan Khan is part Karachi Kings franchise. Peshawar Zalmi is going to showcase Haseebullah. Shawaiz will be bright under the captaincy of Shaheen Shah Afridi. Aimal Khan will be part of Quetta Gladiators. Hassan Nawaz is part of the Islamabad United squad.
Except for Arafat Minhas, every player is selected in the emerging category. Multan selected Arafat as a supplementary player.
