England and Wales Cricket Board has announced the T20 squad for the upcoming Bangladesh tour. A 3 T20 matches series is also a part of this tour.
Jos Buttler will be the captain of the team. The rest of the squad consists of Sam Curran, Adil Rashid, Tom Abell, Ben Duckett, Phill Salt, Rehan Ahmad, Will Jacks, Reece Topley, Moeen Ali, Chirs Jordan, Chris Woakes, Jofra Archer, Dawid Malan, and Mark Wood.
This tour is part of the preparation for the upcoming world cup at the end of 2023. England was also on tour to South Africa, where played a 3 ODI matches series with the host. Unfortunately, visitors were unable to win it. South Africa won the series by 2-1.
There are many new faces in the team as some of the star non-contracted players refused to play for the national team. The stars are Alex Hales, Sam Billings, Liam Dawson, and James Vince. They will be part of PSL 8.
