After His Abrupt Ouster, PCB Will Pay Ramiz Raja’s Pension

Ramiz Raja, a former PCB Chairman and cricketer, has asked the Pakistan Cricket Board to continue paying him a pension even after he has left his position as PCB Chairman.

As a retired cricketer, the former captain of Pakistan is eager to exercise his claim to a pension from the Pakistan Cricket Board. Recent sources state that the former head of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will receive Rs. 154,000 from the PCB.

Ramiz enhanced the pension from Rs. 54,000 to Rs. 154,000 while serving as PCB chairman because he thought that former cricketers should be honoured for their contributions to the nation.

Ramiz Raja reportedly agreed to abide by the PCB's code of conduct in order to keep getting his pension. He is forbidden by the code of conduct from criticising the PCB on any public platform, including YouTube.

The former PCB Chairman, who had differences with the new PCB Chairman Najam Sethi, had made statements against the present administration after being ousted from the board.

From September 2021 until December 2022, Ramiz Raja presided over the PCB; Najam Sethi just took over the position.
