LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief organizer Maryam Nawaz has demanded a court martial of former Director General inter-services intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed.
In an interview with the news website, Maryam Nawaz said that Faiz Hameed played a role in destroying the country by supporting the Imran government for four years and played a role in toppling the PML-N government for two years.
The PML-N leader said that Faiz Hameed was in service when she went to court against him, and submitted a petition with evidence against him in the court.
Maryam Nawaz said that Faiz Hameed went to the house of Islamabad High Court Judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui, told Shaukat Siddiqui that Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz have to be punished and not to be granted bail.
He further said that the biggest punishment for those who brought the hybrid regime came from the public awareness campaign to respect the vote, some people bring disrepute to the institutions, the institutions should punish such people.
Maryam Nawaz said that When General Bajwa was serving, Nawaz Sharif took his name in a full public meeting, when he was on a one-page, no one used to take names, then Nawaz Sharif challenged by name, General Bajwa continued to support Imran Khan, Imran Khan kept praising him, now When General Bajwa retired, Imran Khan attacked him, the sign of the coward is to hold the neck of the chief who goes and the feet of the one who comes.
“Even today, I openly take the names of serving people and show their pictures, pointing out the problems facing politics and the country’s system when such elements were in full power and authority,” she said.
Maryam Nawaz further said that Pervaiz Elahi is saying in the audio leak by taking the name of the judge that fix our case in front of him, Pervaiz Elahi is saying that he wants to come home, it shows that the relationship is very old and strong.
He said that whenever the bench is formed, now people know what the decision will come, there are two criteria of justice, one for the PML-N and one for the PTI.
The PML-N leader said that there was probably no meeting with Saqib Nisar, but there was a meeting with General Bajwa, when General Bajwa became the Army Chief, he met for the first time in the Prime Minister’s House, his family was also with him.
He said that the way Saqib Nisar is talking, it is clear that he is still active, no matter how much he lies, the nation knows everything about him, Saqib Nisar is the biggest criminal of this nation, Saqib Nisar was in the biggest chair of justice, a colonel and brigadier used to instruct him, Faiz Hameed used to instruct Saqib Nisar. Saqib Nisar did not refuse to meet Faiz Hameed.
