ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Monday called on top 10 business leaders of the country. In the meeting, the Army Chief assured the businessmen there that Pakistan will come out of difficult economic conditions successfully, the risk of default has been averted.
The country will progress, and we will emerge as a prosperous nation. No official statement was issued regarding the meeting, but sources said the army chief appeared optimistic during the entire meeting and vowed to overcome the current economic difficulties. He asked businessmen to remain committed and confident.
According to the report, the Army Chief told the businessmen from different sectors that the nation faces difficulties and difficulties, but we have left the worst situation behind, and we will remain stable.
He also referred to Islamic teachings. Businessmen described the meeting as highly successful. The army chief and the finance minister told the businessmen that all the pre-conditions of the IMF have been fulfilled and the agreement will be signed in a few days. A source said the army chief was asked by businessmen why the establishment was not trying to bring politicians together to meet the challenges facing the country. The businessmen told the army chief that the nation expects the army will not allow further chaos and discrimination in society.
