Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan, the prime minister’s special assistant, stated here that the government will have “zero tolerance” for anyone insulting or threatening the state’s institutions or inciting animosity among its employees.
He berated Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan in front of the media for fomenting political fragmentation, separating society, and inciting enmity among the populace for his pitiful political gains.
He said that PTI only had 30 members and that the remaining members were donated to it by former National Accountability Bureau Chairman Javed Iqbal, who acknowledged this to be true, according to writer Javed Chaudhary. Javed Iqbal acknowledged that the PTI of Imran Khan had requested at least 40 (respected) individuals from him. He expressed surprise at learning that his friend Fawad Chaudhary had made such ominous threats against an institution.
He claimed that Imran Khan appointed Sikandar Sultan Raja as chief election commissioner.
He claimed that Imran Khan has accused General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Donald Lu, and now Mohsin Raza Naqvi of overthrowing his government. Farrukh Habib, a former state minister, was chastised by him for impeding the performance of police tasks. He noted that the interim chief minister Mohsin Naqvi was chosen after adhering to the legal procedure.
After the Election Commission of Pakistan refused to introduce electronic voting machines and took a stand against the Buzdar government’s manipulation of the Daska election, PTI began a defamation campaign against the CEC. The PML-N leader claimed that Imran Khan opposed to the chief election commissioner because he rendered decisions against him, and that the PTI administration had nominated the CEC on its own.
